Scan and Pay Feature
Instant Account Balance Inquiry
By Instant Account Balance Inquiry option the users can check their balance availability and spending on the go. Users can create a custom payment address in addition their respective phone number.
BHIM App Profile Option
BHIM Profile is yet again a simple and a great feature to view their QR Code instantly that can further be shared with the customer to pay the amount after scanning it or you can also see your upi address. Share and Download QR code is a thumb up.
User’s Bank will record each and every transaction history which a user can view in their ‘Transaction History’ section on the BHIM App. To access this section Go to BHIM Home Screen -> Transaction History.
Generate QR Code
Users can also a generate a QR Code for faster entry of payment addresses. The Government also said that the Merchants can easily print their QR Code for display. To generate a QR Code Go to Home Screen -> Profile -> Choose account to get QR code.
Users can also request money from other BHIM users by simply using the following steps:
- Go To Home screen
- Select Request Money
- Enter or select the receiver’s mobile number or Payment Address (you can select from your contact list or enter it) or Adhaar number
- Enter the amount
- Click Send
BHIM app users can now send or receive money easily through a mobile number (payment address). The money can be sent to UPI banks by registering & setting up the UPI pin using the Debit Card details. To send money follow the steps:
- Click Send Money Option
- Enter the receiver’s mobile number or Payment Address
- Enter the amount
- The default bank a/c gets selected
- Enter UPI PIN and click send
All Bank Accounts into One
BHIM app currently supports linking of one Bank only.The preferred bank account can be set up at the time of set up from the menu. All the other supported banks accounts can be changed to by just going to the Main menu, selecting Bank Accounts and selecting the default account.
