The biggest benefit of this app is that it supports the USSD that means the people who do not have a smartphone can also do cashless facility to do the transactions. The developer of this app NCPI has adapted USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) platform. So, the users without a smartphone can dial *99# to access all the features.
- Transaction Limit
One of the great advantages of BHIM app is that the transaction limit is Rs. 10,000 per transaction and maximum Rs. 20,000 in a day.

BHIM app currently supports linking of one Bank only.The preferred bank account can be set up at the time of setting up from the menu. All the other supported banks accounts can be changed to by just going to the Main menu, selecting Bank Accounts and selecting the default account.
Another great feature is that users can also send money to non UPI banks users too. For instance, you can send money to someone whose bank is not supported by UPI by using BHIM app but its very unlikely as all the banks send money through IFSC (Indian Financial System Code), à la normal net banking.
